Aroma: Well-balanced - between smokyness, sweetness and heather. With a whiff of Sherry
Taste: Round, smoky sweetness with malt
Finish: Delicious, with the flavour of heather

Aroma: Reichhaltig, Sherry-Note, Anklänge von Eiche, aromatischer Rauch
Geschmack: Reichhaltig, vollmundiger Geschmack, honig- und torfartig
Abgang: Weich, komplex, lang

Nose: Rich, Sherry, with a little bit of oak, aromatic smoke
Taste: Full palate, rich, with honey and peat
Finish: Soft, complex, long

Aroma: Sehr ausgeprägt, Anklänge von Eiche mit fast ätherischer Torfigkeit
Geschmack: Vollmundig, reichhaltige explosionsartige Aromaentfaltung, mittelsüß
Abgang: Reichhaltig, lang und überraschen süß für sein Alter

Aroma: Very pronounced, with hints of oak and peat
Taste: Full palate, rich aromas, medium sweet
Finish: Rich, long and surprisingly sweet for its age
 

Highland Park Bicenntenary Reserve 1977:

Aroma: sehr reich, mit Honignoten, Ankläge von Eiche mit leichter Torfigkeit.
Geschmack: Eiche mit Vanillenoten, Torf, ausgewogene rauchige Note, reichhaltig, rund, vollmundiger Geschmack.
Abgang: ölig, weich, rund und sehr lang

Der Highland Park 1958 ist eine sehr begrenzte Edition von 665 Flaschen des 40 Jahre alten Highland Park Single Malt Whiskys.

Diese Flasche wird in einer Holzkiste verkauft. Der Whisky selbst wird in einer handgeblasenen und –gravierten Caithness Glasflasche geliefert, die den Steinkreis bei Ring of Brodgar auf der Insel Orkney zeigt und mit einem gäsernen Stopfen in "H"-Form verschlossen wird. Dazu gibt es noch ein Buch über Whisky und Orkney. 

Alle diese Gegenstände sind nummeriert und von Jim Robertson, dem Highland Park Distilery Manager, handsigniert.

The Highland Park 1958 is a very limited edition of 665 bottles of 40 Year Old Highland Park Single Malt Scotch Whisky.

The 1958 is presented in a wooden presentation box which also contains a unique hand-blown, hand engraved Caithness Glass Decanter depicting the stone circle at the Ring of Brodgar on Orkney, with a solid glass stopper featuring the "H" and a specially commissioned hardback book celebrating both Whisky and Orkney.

All four items are numbered (e.g. 1 of 665) and Jim Robertson, Highland Park's Distillery Manager, has personally signed each book.
