Die Palliser Brennerei liegt im Süden von Alberta nur wenige Meilen von der Grenze zu den USA entfernt. Die moderne Brennerei in Lethbridge produziert nicht nur Whisky, sondern vor allem den Smirnoff Wodka.

Palliser stellt im wesentlichen nur eine wichtige Whiskymarke her, den Black Velvet. Dieser Whisky ist ein einfacher, leicht öliger Whisky, der eine reife Süße aufweist.

The Palliser distillery is situated in the south of Alberta only in a few miles distrance to the frontier with the USA. The modern distillery in Lethbridge produces not only whisky but also the Smirnoff Vodka.

Palliser produces on the whole only one whisky brand, the Black Velvet. This whisky is a simple, slightly oily whisky, whichs shows a mature sweetness.
