Single Malts are the world’s most complex whiskies. All of them have distinctive characteristics and flavours. Over the last ten years the enormous number of Connoisseurs have not only been delighted by the increased availability of Single Malt Whisky; but a look at the hundreds of brown shining liquor bottles in the shelves of a well assorted dealer has awoken a very human characteristic: Collecting. Therefore it is one of our primary goals not only to inform about all bottles of a particular distillery, but also to complement this by a picture of these bottles and labels as far as ever possible.

 The authors:

Ralf Bernhardt & Hans Georg Würsching, Whisky enthusiasts and collectors for many years. By many trips around Scotland and visits of several distilleries they felt in love with this unique spirit and it only was a short way for them to start collecting Single Malts. Based on their experience they are trying to develop the interest in Single Malt Whisky not only by organising tastings and trainings but also by heading the well-known whisky club “Friends of Malt e.V”.
